RedPill games competition - AmigaWave aimed high with a new game-making contest!

We've just been contacted by kikems through the EAB forums, of a number of games that have been made available through the AmigaWave Redpill games competition, that is sure to impressive even the most hardy of Amiga gamers. This competition which looks to have ended earlier in June was run by AmigaWave creators of Else We Get Mad! and revolved around the creation of games using the newest of Amiga game creation software, RedPill. This creation software could well be the best yet as going by what we've seen so far, it supports very smooth frame rates and great design features.

And it's that software which was used for the awesome game Amiga Racing by Juande3050, and also the game MomoSpace by Tecniman, each one an entry to the AmigaWave competition. As you can see with the gameplay footage above it's very smooth, and it's that smoothness which we hope will appear in any future developments to come, something I rarely see when developed using Backbone. As ever make sure to download the latest RedPill 0.5.3 which also includes the games in the package!
