As a fan of the Gameboy and all those games that are inspired by that great hand held, I was pleased to see that Polynaut had released his retro inspired action game of ' The Tragic Tale of Bark Scruffalo', that looks very much like a Gameboy game but is available for the PC. In this game you play as a faithful Dog owner who must protect a lovable pet Bark Scruffalo at all costs from creepy creatures spawning out of the unknown.
Think of this a tower defence game intermixed with hack and slash gameplay, as in this game made with game maker you'll need to fight off as many creatures as possible to keep your dog safe with the use of either your sword or a well placed mine. The more enemies you kill, the more diamonds you can collect, which means you can spend them on more mines to protect your puppy against the ever increasing horde! Certainly a great game for a rather poor and wet Monday, so have fun!
