While many of you are eagerly awaiting the Amstrad port of Pinball Dreams, or have played the excellent Amstrad port of Scramble, then there's another game you might be interested in and again a port and that's the upcoming Amstrad game 'Alcon' developed by Abalore. Now if you've ever played Alcon in the Arcades or as it was known on the 8bit machines as Slap Fight, the developer is hoping this version will be more like the Arcades and not the 8bit version released in the late 80's... Although that was still a great game to play!
Although the game is still in a very early stage of development as can be seen in the video above, Alcon does look like it could be a damn fine port released in the near future, as not only does the game scroll nicely with smooth animation, but it has that great soundtrack, the levels look much closer to the Arcade,s and what really stands out is the ship design being very close to Alcon and not Slap Fight.
