RINGO - A new ZX Spectrum 128k game made in an "experimental graphics mode"

RetroSouls have published many enjoyable games throughout the years, games such as GLUF, Old Tower, Twinlight, Alter Ego, and even Tourmaline for the ZX Spectrum. Well today thanks to a heads up by Saberman, he has told us that RetroSouls have released a brand new ZX Spectrum game called 'RINGO'. A game in which the creators have said it was made in an "experimental graphics mode". In light of this news, you can see how the game looks in this new gameplay playthrough by Saberman.

Here is what the website says about this brand new game from RetroSouls. Ringo is a logical platformer made in experimental graphic mode and inspired by classic arcade games. You play as a young Snoogle named Ringo who needs to find as many magic stars as possible in the underground labyrinths of the twilight land. The fact is that the Snoogles use the stars to illuminate their homes during the long winter evenings. And as you know, even a cup of hot lingonberry tea is no fun in total darkness!

  4. Looks super fun, and I am always astounded how vivid the Spectrum community is in creating new and exciting stuff. It's like no one ever told them the Speccy has the worst specs. they just don't care and create wonderful stuff with that..

Yeah ... it's like a sucker punch you know. Like, you're saying the most beautiful thing about something, then you judge it has a turd with a yellow ribbon, then come back saying it's so beautiful ...

      .!.
