Here we are with another rather impressive looking homebrew, and it's 'Zak McDruken Saves The Chickens' from RetroSouls Team for the ZX Spectrum. A game that not only has fantastic graphics while also having a clever use of color attributes, but it's also very enjoyable while also remaining a challenge as you try to solve some of the puzzles throughout each of the many levels. Certainly a game that's worthy of a feature, both on this website, and throughout twitter(x).
Plyuk - Another unique ZX Spectrum 128k game from RetroSouls
While RetroSouls has released many games such as GLUF, Old Tower and Alter Ego, one of the more unique games they released, was a game called Ringo. What made this game unique was the fact that it was one of the first games to use their new 'experimental graphics mode'. While I'm unsure about the technicalities of this new mode, you can at least see it being used yet again, in their latest game of 'Plyuk'. A new ZX Spectrum game also featured in Saberman's gameplay footage below.
Old Towers - RetroSouls seriously cool ZX Spectrum game arrives on the Famicom/NES with a version 1.1
If you've been following RetroSouls for awhile you would've known they have released games such as GLUF, Old Tower, Twinlight, Alter Ego, and even Tourmaline for the ZX Spectrum. Well today as thanks to a heads up via Facebook, we have been told that they have released a new game update for the NES as an arcade puzzler called 'Old Towers'. A challenging game in which you have traverse an ancient tower to collect all the treasure within. To coincide with this news, we've got some gameplay footage from the game as well as a small write up below the video.

Well today thanks to a heads up by Saberman, he has told us that RetroSouls have released a brand new ZX Spectrum game called 'RINGO'. A game in which the creators have said it was made in an "experimental graphics mode". In light of this news, you can see how the game looks in this new gameplay playthrough by Saberman.

GraviBots - A new Arcade Puzzle game has been released for the Sega Mega Drive and Genesis
We turn our attention away from all the Amiga and C64 news now, as we look towards the Sega Mega Drive for our retro fun, as RetroSouls has released their new game of 'GraviBots'; a very enjoyable puzzle platformer, in which you play as the latest model of the gravibot and must clear all the rooms of the old bots by using abandoned and forgotten gravitational traps after the folding of a research program.
Alter Ego - Popular ZX Spectrum game gets ported to the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis
In 2011 RetroSouls released the rather popular game of ' Alter Ego ' for the ZX Spectrum, a game which was later ported over to the NES, PC, Android and yes even the Amiga. However there was a system that this game would've been just as good on, and that was the Sega Mega Drive. Well today after an email by a good friend of ours, we've just learnt that RetroSouls has now released the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis version which has been Remastered and programmed with C language powered by SGDK.
Yazzie - A lovely Arcade game for the ZX Spectrum via Retro Souls!
Not liking the racing game and want some arcade platforming fun, then how about this game then... 'Yazzie'. A brand new ZX Spectrum game from Denis Grachev (Retro Souls), that was developed using the Nirvana Engine! It features lots of devious levels, a great soundtrack, deadly enemies, dangerous traps, and much much more as another entry in the Yandex Retro Games Battle 2019 competition.
Misplaced - A new Megadrive release from RetroSouls
RetroSouls that are known for many great homebrew games just released a new title for the Megadrive/Genesis called “Misplaced”. RetroSouls describes Misplaced as a small experimental puzzler. The goal is to collect crystals and placing them on altars to progress to the next level. To help the character to collect all the crystals that sometimes are located on hard to reach places you can use your very snazzy magical glasses that lets you record your steps and then with a press of a button you can replay the path you just recorded. If you liked the puzzle part of RetroSouls game Alter Ego then you should definitely check this out!

Although there's no mention of a release date, we do know the game will be released by RetroSouls and the music is being created by Oleg Nikitin!

Alter Ego - Platform Puzzler that's also available for the ZX Spectrum!
Shocking as it may seem but new games are still being made for the ZX Spectrum so along comes Alter Ego, which is Platform Puzzler that's both available for the PC, ZX Spectrum, Nes and even Android. In Alter Ego by RetroSouls, you play as a hero who has a phantom twin, an alter ego and in whichever direction you move, your alter moves in a mirrored fashion. It's a pretty nifty design to solve puzzles and it works well in this game and you'll also be pleased to know that Alter Ego is free!
