If you remember the game Cannon Fodder on the Amiga, then take a look at how this game plays, it will bring back a little bit of nostalgia! Ok... So Cannon Fodder didn't have Zombies (Not that I remember) but the style of game play is very similar in this game called BDTZ by Acneproduction. A new Zombie themed Cannon Fodder game, which the developer has announced with a new and improved demo for the Commodore Amiga.

Here's what the website says about the game. "A zombie survival game. Over 60 levels of adrenaline-filled tension. 30 days to survive the apocalypse. New intro, improved graphics, introduced female zombie figure, new sound effects, 4 different game locations each with its own set of graphics, gangs of thugs ready to kill you, minefields, military bases, an Easter egg, new mission objectives...all this is Better Dead Than Zed. Are you a survivor?".

System Requirements : Suitable for all classic Amiga formats (A500+, A600, A1200) Or Emulator. The game needs 1 mb Ram and mouse in port1. If you are using winuae set 68000 cpu, +0% speed (approximately like an A500+) and full ecs chipset.

  2. Game itself looks great. As always using AI for pictures is blatantly obvious and takes away from the hard work devs are putting into it.

    1. TY man. You're right... the use of AI is a shortcut that perhaps "betrays" the spirit of retrogaming... but after all, even in 90s games they used scanned images, and back then there wasn't this severity on copyright. Today it would almost not be possible. Thanks again for the compliments. Stay tuned... BDTZ is in development! :)
