The Commodore Amiga homebrew scene has received a fresh jolt of adrenaline with the release of Railblaze, a new title developed by Dion Guy for the Commodore Amiga. Drawing heavy inspiration from the classic Transversion, Railblaze plunges players into a high-stakes rescue mission. After your spacecraft is seized by the hostile Damidi Empire, you find yourself trapped within the complex layers of their digital grid network. To secure your freedom, you must navigate 20 perilous floors, harvesting blue orbs to unlock the path to the next level while dodging a barrage of enemy fire and environmental traps.
Here's the latest "This is a game for Amiga PAL computers (apologies to NTSC users). Requires 1MB RAM (512KB Chip & 512K Slow/Fast). Has been tested on a real Amiga 500 and with the WinUAE emulator. Please note that on recent versions of WinUAE (6.0.0+) you will need to set "Cycle-exact (DMA/Memory accesses)" (under Chipset) if using an A1200 or above. Provided as an ADF file to boot from floppy disk, and an LHA file which can be extracted to run on a hard drive. Developed in AmiBlitz3. Railblaze is Copyright © 2026 Dion Guy. Music is Copyright © Roald Strauss."
