Super Cableman - A new Amstrad game with a unique game style by TITAN

TITAN has released Super Cableman for the Amstrad CPC, a new action game born from an Amstrad.eu two-line BASIC competition that challenges players to guide a constantly moving cable through hazardous environments. Utilizing a fluid, mechanics-driven engine built on the BASIC TEST instruction to detect obstacles, the game features dynamic, evolving levels and a random cave generator for infinite replayability. The project was refined with music by Pulsophonic and optimizations from Kukulcan. You can explore the game's development and download details in the original announcement.

In brief here's what the developer said ( fr-en translated ). "It only took about two weeks to design the entirety of Super Cableman. Gameplay ideas came naturally as we created the levels. Each decor has brought its share of inspiration and new mechanics. The ability to flash some colours has made it possible to apply this effect both to the elements of the decor and to the cable itself, considerably increasing the difficulty for some of the courses. Likewise, the possibility of redrawing directly on the illustrations gave birth to doors that open and close during the game, dynamically modifying the available paths. For the last level, I chose a different approach by putting set up a random generator of caves. Each party proposes this a new maze, potentially giving the game a lifespan infinite and an ever-renewed challenge."
