Here's FablePhobia: The Borrowed Morning, a bite-sized graphic adventure released for the Commodore 64. In this atmospheric title, players guide a protagonist named Alice through the eerie, hushed corridors of a sleeping house. Following the elusive traces of Pippa, the journey takes players through forgotten rooms, mysterious mirrors, and down into a moonlit well. Despite its brief runtime, the game manages to pack in charmingly distinct native C64 graphics, intuitive choice-driven mechanics, and straightforward puzzles.
Early community feedback so far has been rather positive even for an AI game, with players noting via the itch io page that while the adventure is admittedly very short, they liked the graphics, enjoyed the story and the seamless joystick integration. In fact some have even said they hope the developer expands the concept into a full-length release. So yes while there is a lot of AI slop out there, this one atleast going by those that have played it, have said it isn't half bad.
