Digger - IBM PC classic remade for the C64 and it's GOOD!
After HayesMaker's big C64 round up was done, we didn't think any new games would come soon after the article was finished. But yet here we are with a brand new remake of a game called Digger, which has been released by the (Digital Monastery) Hokuto Force Game Developing Division for the C64 . Now if you remember this game released on the IBM PC way back in 1983 by Windmill Software, you'll be pleased to know this version is a complete remake of that game to the C64 with a rather awesome tape loader by Richard Bayliss.
Digger Preview - A very early port preview on the C64!
Checking for some interesting C64 previews to play, we've come across an early preview port of a game called Digger, which looks to have been released by Excess. Now if you remember this game and not of the same name on the C64 previously, that's because it was a game released on the IBM PC way back in 1983 by Windmill Software. This version however is at a very early stage but does give a good impression to how close it will be to the original game.
Digger - Arcade Remastered
It amazes me, how such old games with barely any graphics of note were so popular, yet even some top end titles of today don't have such a fun factor. The game play was all that counts, and Digger goes way back to 1983 by Windmill Software. So here we have the remastered version, even though there have been a number of remakes in the past and even slight variations this looks true to the original
