Gandalf Deluxe - An eye opening ZX Spectrum platformer looks better than ever

During the early part of this year we announced the release of a brilliant ZX Spectrum game called ' Gandalf ', which was finished for the ZX-Dev conversion competition as a multi-screen platformer based on the Gandalf character and developed using Nirvana+. Well there's great news for today, as we've recently been told by Gaming Legends that the same developer of Cgonzalez has released the Deluxe version with enhanced performance and in game music!

As if this week couldn't get any crazier as after already mentioning Gimmick! Yumetaro Odyssey, Dr Who Surrender Time, ZXombies Dead Flesh and Mighty Final Fight, which were heavily featured on our website, along comes another game finished for the ZX-DEV conversion competition ' Gandalf; a multi screen platformer based on the Gandalf character and developed using Nirvana+.

Throughout the upcoming months while the ZX-DEV Conversions competition is ongoing, we will be keeping an eye on the latest entries that have been submitted as conversions from other games from other platforms, from movies,cartoons, books and even comics! One such game we can't wait till it's finished and one that has advanced a lot since its first showing, is the Super Mario Bros inspired ZX Spectrum game Gandalf 'by cmgonzalez, that is now at demo version 7

As many of  you know by now that the ZX-DEV Conversions compo had recently been launched and gave you the chance to create awesome games where the contestants had to submit conversions from other games from other platforms, from movies,cartoons, books and even comics! Once such game that is known as ' Gandalf 'by cmgonzalez, really appealed to us as it is not only inspired by Super Mario Bros, but is based on Gandalf, using the Nirvana+ engine and it looks to feature some rather gorgeous ZX graphics indeed.
