Super Monaco GP +6DG - Hokuto Force is aiming for pole position in this C64 release

In the early 90's Sega with publishing rights by US Gold, released the Arcade racing game of ' Super Monaco GP ' on a multitude of systems including the C64. It had a brilliant soundtrack by Jeroen Tel and required you the racer, to both qualify and then win the Grand Prix of Monaco! That same game has once again appeared today, but this time by Hokuto Force as ' Super Monaco GP +6DG ', which was done for a request from an HF fan and features 6 trainers and the speccy original pic + dox in a separate file

DaXX : Founder of the Raveblasters - A very top quality retro gaming DJ (Amiga/C64)

It's an early morning wake up and what am I doing? Listening to some great tunes of course! Tunes by the legend that is Bert Brüggemann (Aka daXX), who creates both Amiga and C64 remixes that sound amazing every time he updates with a new release. As such he's done over 500 Amiga mods and remixes through the years, with Soundtracker and Protracker, rating him in my opinion one of the best re-mixers of our time.  He is one of my favourites and this week not only did he remix a new tune with daXX - Stardust Memories (Amiga Remix) but he also has a SoundCloud so you can listen to many more of his amazing tracks!

SidRip Relive - Banging tunes for the C64 listed by SIDrip Alliance

We have just been tweeted by a little birdy that some of our C64 owners are feeling a little let down by the lack of tunes today. So we rushed out and grabbed the latest SidRip Relive album to feature which in our opinion sounds awesome! Released by SIDrip Alliance and composed by many famous artists such as Rob Hubbard, Jeroen Tel, Purple Motion, Martin Galway, Laxity and many more, these are some of the finest tunes ever to grace your C64!  Load up that old retro system, turn up the speakers, because believe me, you'll be replaying these classics again and again. Oh and there's animation in this album too!

Jeroen Tel - legendary C64 composer aims for Indiegogo funding for Tel Me More

When it comes to games and or movies, what really sets them off is a good soundtrack, it can give you many different emotions depending on the type of music that is being played. For example listening to a powerful orchestra would probably be suited to either a battle or a love scene. So it will come as no surprise to you that this exact same feeling goes with games as well. But a bad game can still be noted just by it's incredible soundtrack. Thus with this latest indiegogo announcement, the C64 composer legend that is Jeroen Tel has launched his crowd funding campaign for 'Tel Me More' which is a remake of Jeroen Tel's most memorable Commodore 64 video game soundtracks.
