Let's Invade! - A psychedelic Space Invaders on the C64 by Richard Bayliss

Not long ago we teased Richard Bayliss's new Space Invaders game with a twist ' Let's Invade! ', as a preview for the C64. Well today a full version of the game has appeared and has been released by The New Dimension as both a Disk and a Tape based file. Be warned though, Let's Invade is not for someone who suffers epilepsy or migraines as it takes the original Arcade 1978 Shooter Space Invaders by Tomohiro Nishikado and adds psychedelic moving backgrounds with upbeat trance music.

Aaron White has been featured pretty much non stop over these last few years on our site in releasing top quality C64 to Amiga chiptune conversions. He's released albums such as the Hi-Tec Software Amiga Chiptune Special, the Dizzy Album Amiga Special, Volume's 1 - 7 and many more. All of these persuade gamers around the world to turn on their Amiga just to relive those good old 80's. However today Aaron White has done something completely different as an exclusive to us, by releasing a collection of Music Demo - Amiga Preservation Disks (AmigaPD) that according to him, as far as he knows, are not available anywhere else.

Trance Sector Ultimate - Top quality arcade C64 release!

New Dimension and RGCD have released 'Trance Sector Ultimate' for the C64. In my opinion regarded as a top quality arcade release. you must fly your ship in a set direction while collection spheres and higher points while also avoiding other enemies. The graphics are pretty decent and the game play is both fun and easy to master. But what the game does have that keeps me coming back for more, is the top quality sound track. Not only is the intro full of awesome beat trance, but the in game music also plays which is lacking in many other arcade games of the C64 era.
