It's a time to rejoice with music, as the best selling C64 remix album of 2002 ' Instant Remedy ' is being teased with a large 36min sampler! Bruce Lee C64 and more remixes on the Amstrad CPC!


It's time to feature the Amstrad CPC as SuTeKH/Epyteor, creator of Now That's What I Call Chip Tunes, Turrican 2, Kong Strikes Back & Friends, Ghosts'N'Goblins (By Mark Cooksey) and many other remixes has turned his attention towards a new set of C64 tunes on the Amstrad. He has gone and remixed not just the famous retro gaming classic Bruce Lee, but Cybernoid 2 (The 8-Bit War) , Advanced Combat Emulator 2, Parallax, Auf Wiedersehen Monty and Thing on a Spring, each one originally from the C64.

Remember the 80's - A musical nostalgic trip on the Amstrad


Rejoice Amstrad owners as we are going to step back in time to the 80's and not with gaming either, but a musical nostalgic trip on the Amstrad CPC!  Devilmarkus and ed209 have now made available ' Remember The 80's ' for the Amstrad CPC 664, CPC 6128, 464 Plus, 6128 Plus and GX4000! Released at the Sundown 2016 and coming second place, has a great number of 80's tracks such as Blondie - Call Me, Human League Don't You Want Me? And much more, all remixed on that great 8bit machine.

RGDS & Indie Retro News Presents - Conversions & Compositions by Aaron White! (Amiga)


I've just come back from celebrating my sisters 16th birthday party and what better way to continue the fun than listening to another top set of remixes by none other than Aaron White! This is the 'RGDS & Indie Retro News Presents - Conversions & Compositions' for the Amiga. A 6 track album featuring a mix of covers and originals! Tunes in the list include, Crack Pipe, Re-Keygen, San Jose, Toki, Here I Am by UB40 and the other one Bear, which is from the forthcoming C64 game by Graham Axten or as he's known in the developer C64 scene (Toki). What a great set of music indeed, so turn those speakers up, it's going to be a long night!

Khaosadz is BACK and he's released more upbeat retro remixes!


Could this Christmas get any better, oh yes it has! As Khaosadz this month has released 5 new retro game musical remixes for your ear blasting enjoyment. For those of you who don't know who Khaosadz is, he is a game audio remixer that turns the already top tunes into one hell of an upbeat remix. He has done countless retro games going way back to 2006, such as Dizzy on the Spectrum (Khaosadz Megamix) (2006) to Gauntlet 4 - Sortie (Khaosadz Mix) (2007). But this month he has done Streets of Rage 3 - Dance Club (Khaosadz Mix), Tarzan Goes Ape! - Title (Khaosadz Mix), Magicland Dizzy - Ingame (Khaosadz Mix), Marko's Magic Football - The Circus (Khaosadz Mix) and Sonic 3 - Get Blue Spheres (Khaosadz Mix). When I'm not writing articles I usually have a kick ass retro track playing in the background either at full volume through my speakers or through my headphones. One such album which I listen to on a regular basis since it was released, is 'Insert Disk 2' by Instant Remedy. This album was over seven years in the making and features incredible remixes of such tunes as Battle Squadron "Ingame", Seven Gates Of Jambala and many more all expertly mastered by Holger Lagerfeldt. Each one is a masterpiece and thankfully all of the tracks were recently made available on Youtube, so press play and enjoy! ( Warning Youtube heavy )

Some of you may find this hard to believe but I cannot write any articles without some form of retro tune playing in the background, it really gives that extra feel to writing about those classic games. We especially get some great feedback when it comes to chiptune albums such as Aaron White's releases or through our favourite station Roland Radio. Markus Schneider composes some of the finest Commodore 64 music remixes and what better way to celebrate that fact, than a home made youtube video of his best orchestral work. Although his music is regularly played on SlayRadio it's also available to download directly from Remix64. So put those headphones on and let the music sooth you!
