Wonderboy The Dragons Trap - A Sega classic enhanced is now available on Steam!

When I was a lad spending all my money down at the Arcades, the game I used to love playing was that fantastic platformer ' Wonder Boy ' designed by Ryuichi Nishizawa. It started its life as a skateboard rock jumping and axe bashing platformer, that later became the adventure platformer with RPG elements ' Wonderboy in Monster Land ' that many of us know and love to this day. That same game later had a sequel called Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap for the Sega Master System and Game Gear, published by Sega, which has now been released as a modern remake developed by Lizardcube, published by DotEmu and in collaboration with the legendary series creator Ryuichi Nishizawa on Steam!

We've just had a great heads up from our good friend Ethan Knight, that the spectacular looking remake of the 1989 SEGA game ' Wonderboy The Dragons Trap ' has once again been shown off with new gameplay footage. What's more the video also shows us a new glimpse into the switching on the fly audio and graphics mode, which means you can switch between the old retro graphics and audio and the new modern version.

As I've said before, with the Amiga enhanced version, when I was a wee lad spending all my money down at the Arcades, one such game I used to love was that fantastic platformer ' Wonder Boy ' designed by Ryuichi Nishizawa.
