Bronx, Excalibur & La Casa - An Adventure bonanza for the Commodore 64 & Plus4 as a conversion from the ZX Spectrum

For those of you who like text adventure games, such as Spooky Adventure or Knight Orc. Then we have just found out through the plus4 website, that Ready64 has announced the release of Bronx, Excalibur and La Casa for the C64 and Plus/4. As in the words of the website for La Casa, "Converted by Carmine Migliaccio (TSM) from the original ZX Spectrum created by (private) and released in Load'n'Run 47 (March 1988). Hercules Redux - A redux version of the classic Hercules game for the Commodore 16/Plus4

If you're looking for something different to play through this weekend and possibly the week ahead too, then you'll pleased to know as thanks to a heads up by Plus/4 World, we've been told that C64Mark has released a redux version of the classic game Hercules for the Commodore 16/Plus4. As in the words of Luca : "C64Mark is the very first streamer with a Commodore 16 dedicated channel on his own Twitch channel, and today he has a further present for us: together with a bunch of friends whose helped him, he released a redux version of Hercules C16!".

Knight Lore V1.10 - Ultimate Play the Game classic as a C64, Plus4, C128 Vic-II & VDC port gets UPDATED!

Only just last year towards October 2018 we shocked the retro community with an announcement that the ZX Spectrum, BBC Micro, Amstrad CPC, MSX and Famicom Disk System game of ' Knight Lore ' by Ultimate Play the Game, had been released on the C64 as a full Z80 conversion to the C64 by Rod and Emu with an awesome loading screen by STE. Well fast forward to today and Knight Lore has had noticable improvements, as thanks to the same team we now have a V1.10 version that is now available for the C64, Plus4 and C128 Vic-II & VDC!

Gunfright Ultimate Edition V1.10 - Ultimate Play the Game classic as a port gets an update

During this year Indie Retro News has been keeping you up to date on the latest port news that has been released on the Atari 8bit or C64. One such port which took us by surprise for example, was the latest C64, C128 and Plus4 port of the ZX Spectrum game ' Gunfright ', which was first released back in the 80's by Ultimate Play the Game and then later ported over to the Atari 800 as a Z80 to 6502 conversion by MariusZX. That same C64, C128 and Plus4 port which was based on that Atari 800 conversion has once again appeared in our news feeds, but this time as a further improved release by Rod & Emu.

If you were an Ultimate Play the Game fan in the 80's, then this latest news which has appeared in our inbox will blow your mind, as the Ultimate Play the Game classic of ' Gunfright ', has been fully ported over to the C64, C128 and Plus4! Through these last few years we've had a number of conversions and ports already, such as Pentagram for the Atari 8bit, then we had Pentagram ported to the C64. But now here we are again with another port, as this time Gunfright from 1985, which appeared on the ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC and MSX is now fully C64 playable by Rod & Emu!
