Shinobi - A proof of concept for the Amiga, as the original version was graphically terrible! [UPDATE]

Thanks to @PixelCNinja and Saberman, I’ve learned that Str1der has shown a work-in-progress proof of concept for Shinobi (1989) on the Commodore Amiga 500. While the project began when the developer experimented with recolouring visual assets from the Sega Master System version , he found the updated aesthetic was so compelling that it inspired him to work on this version of Shinobi. Currently, Joe Musashi's movements and an expansive 8-way scrolling map function seamlessly, demonstrating the stock A500 hardware's impressive ability to process a fast-paced action environment.

Shinobi Remaster - An Arcade game from 1987/9 with "improved" details on the Amstrad!


Well this took us completely by surprise, as checking through the CPCWiki forums we've come across a new remaster for the Amstrad which is sure to bring back Arcade memories from the late 80's. The game being spoken about is none other than 'Shinobi'; A game that was released way back in 1987 in the Arcades by Sega, ported to other systems such as the  Amiga, Atari ST, Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC, and ZX Spectrum, with an Amstrad remaster released TODAY!
