This year Super Mario Bros 3 celebrates its 30th Anniversary, yes believe it or not but it was exactly 30 years ago Nintendo released this amazing game and i remember it like it was yesterday. I was walking home from school listening to the track Summertime with DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince on my Sony Walkman and just when i was about to have a relaxing time watching Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves on our VHS when my parents walked in holding this shiny yellow box, it was Super Mario Bros 3 and i couldn't believe it! Well the rest is history, the game was a huge hit and is still considered today to be one of the best Mario games in video game history.

Another range of classics that have been given an overhaul or changed to make it look like an almost new game, is Super Mario Bros and Super Mario Bros 3 on the NES. Prepare to see Mario as you've never seen him before, this time in an all new NES hack of Super Mario Bros 3, in ' Communist Mario 3 ' released by KP9000. Now when I first saw this game update I thought it was an April Fools joke as everything about it seemed so silly, I just wasn't going to be taken in ,especially as it was actually April 1st. But Communist Mario 3 is actually a real hack, and unlike the original Mario you play as Comrade Mario in a quest to extinguish capitalism that is threatening Mother Russia and the USSR.
