Sure I love writing up the latest game news, but without all of you visiting and sometimes even giving your time to make a reply, or supporting us through Patreon(link) 😉 - The  website wouldn't be where it is today! Update : And on this very positive note, I've just noticed the website has hit a staggering 40,015,984 million views. If I could have a party with all of you, I most certainly would! Drinks are on me ;)

It's incredible to think that Indie Retro News was started way back in 2011/12, as an idea to bring as many decent retro games as possible to a wider audience, instead of just forums. I mean heck I was even banned a few times for spamming almost every new game. Thankfully time has progressed since then, and not only has Indie Retro News been a global influence in the retro scene, but we've spoken to so many people online and shared gaming memories with our amazing readers, it's been a pleasure to be a part of this community even with its downer moments.

I have been writing on my website Indie Retro News going back as far as 2011 when we hit our first milestone of 5000 views, and nowhere near the mind blowing amount we've hit today, which doesn't include FB or Twitter. Not only do I come across some great games, but we feature so many that lots of you who visit our site, regard us as the go to place for the latest updates for pretty much every retro gaming system out there (Apart from the Oric, which is coming soon).

As many of you know I have been writing on my site Indie Retro News for many many years now, and I feel now is the time to say a huge THANK YOU to every one of you that not only keeps coming back to check the website, but also as a huge thank you to all of our Patreon Supporters who have helped us grow to be one of the best places on the internet. After the recent ask for Donations as basically we needed help ( We don't do adverts! ), we had a lot of support from you the readers. In actual fact I was overwhelmed by how many people stepped forward and supported us, not only did it make me proud to be a big part of the retro community and all that it provides, but you have given me further incentive to push Indie Retro News into a much better future. Because of some of you wish to remain private, I'll just say a huge thank you, to all of you, to everyone of you that keeps coming back.
