Indie Retro News celebrates over 6 years of gaming news!

It's incredible to think that this year will be another year under our belt and our anniversary of over 6 years since our gaming creation in the late part of 2011! Over many years of posting the latest gaming news on certain forums, (originally just quotes) I had a dream to create my own gaming website, one that would suit both fans of the Indie scene and the Retro scene and would reach out to as many people as possible, which includes those of you in the Amiga, Amstrad, C64, ZX Spectrum, Sega Master System, NES and even the BBC Micro scene. Thus in late 2011 Indie Retro News was born and over time has seen a huge surge in views with the end result of being a part of the top 5 retro gaming blog, the top 10 retro gaming blog, and the top popular blogs to Follow!

After the recent ask for Donations as basically we needed help ( We don't do adverts! ), we had a lot of support from you the readers. In actual fact I was overwhelmed by how many people stepped forward and supported us, not only did it make me proud to be a big part of the retro community and all that it provides, but you have given me further incentive to push Indie Retro News into a much better future. Because of some of you wish to remain private, I'll just say a huge thank you, to all of you, to everyone of you that keeps coming back. From the bottom of my heart, I am extremely grateful and will continue to write about the Amstrad, Amiga, C64, ZX Spectrum and more!

This will be a short article and wont contain any great games for you to play, but it's just a huge thank you to everyone that has donated to the website so far. Frederic Duval & Ian Mcdowell, thank you so much. You have no idea how much it means to me to get donations to keep the site going. When one member from a forum said we should ask for donations, I never thought anyone would really care enough to do so. How wrong I was! So again big thanks, and also a thanks goes out to all the readers of Indie Retro News that keep coming back again and again.

Game Quote : Tomb of Rooms is a third person survival horror / dungeon crawler for 1-2 players split screen co-op. Players must ascend a tower full of increasingly difficult, randomly generated levels, using limited light and limited weapons. It is created by 1 programmer and 2 artists, and is currently in pre-alpha. As such, it is very much still in development, and may well have the odd bug here and there
