39 Days to Mars - 19th century 2 player couch co-op adventure gets a release

Our good friend and fellow Indie guy Konstantinos Dimopoulos, has contacted us recently regarding a new game on Steam called '39 Days to Mars' developed by Anecdotal, a one-person indie development studio of Philip Buchanan. Available on Steam, Humble Store and itch.io, 39 Days to Mars is a rather unique and charming co-op steam punk puzzle adventure game, which allows up to 2 player in co-op, set upon the HMS Fearful; a masterpiece of unreliable engineering on its maiden voyage to Mars in an alternate reality in the 19th century.

Exolon X2 - Retro gaming classic by Hewson will soon feature unofficial 2 player co-op!

In 1987 Hewson released the excellent action run and gun game ' Exolon ' for the ZX Spectrum, C64 and Amstrad CPC, with a later conversion to the Enterprise 128, Amiga and Atari ST. In the game, you played as a sci-fi soldier across multiple screens blasting away enemies and defending yourself against gun defences as well as homing missiles. A decent game for its time, as well as having a remake in 2005 thanks to Restrospec, is now going to feature a two player split screen co-op mode, that is being worked on by Shan@ShanJuso and is due for a future PC release

Evilized Productions has just announced Disposable Heroes, a game that looks very similar to another game of similar genre, The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, but with a more unusual graphical style. What can only be described as paper drawings and enhanced stick men!
