Exolon X2 - Retro gaming classic by Hewson will soon feature unofficial 2 player co-op!

In 1987 Hewson released the excellent action run and gun game ' Exolon ' for the ZX Spectrum, C64 and Amstrad CPC, with a later conversion to the Enterprise 128, Amiga and Atari ST. In the game, you played as a sci-fi soldier across multiple screens blasting away enemies and defending yourself against gun defences as well as homing missiles. A decent game for its time, as well as having a remake in 2005 thanks to Restrospec, is now going to feature a two player split screen co-op mode, that is being worked on by Shan@ShanJuso and is due for a future PC release

.
Personally I can't wait to try this out and play it with fiends as I used to love this game as a kid, but as soon we know more as the information we've received is very sparse, we will let you know.
