UBOOT - PlayWay aims for a WW2 Survival Sandbox Kickstarter success

Just as I said last time, when it comes to games associated with PlayWay, you just know it is going to be a Kickstarter success. Well PlayWay and in development by Deep Water Studio's, have once again jumped into the Kickstarter crowd funding way of life with their latest game ' UBOOT '. Which is a WW2 Survival Sandbox Simulation aboard your very own submarine from the WWII era, with all its wave breaking, torpedo firing charm intact.

At 21% already funded via Kickstarter with a Steam Greenlight campaign ongoing for PC, 'UBOOT' mashes it up with the classic Silent Service and adds its own touch of Fallout Shelter but giving a real feeling for the German Crew and the deadly ocean situations they come across. Which could mean the difference between life or death. This game will really put you to the test, and will give you the feeling of actually being in control as if  you were a captain during the WW2 era. As the developer's have said "you will have to learn how the boat is built and how it works. You will also need to find out strengths and weaknesses of the crew. The boat will suffer damage during the battles but also break down because of fatigue".

Other unique features to the game include, realistic failures to the Submarine, such as broken gaskets and major break downs, key historical missions given to you by headquarters, sailors with personalities, stories, skills and weaknesses, sub physics, and a next-gen water system. But beware, if you treat your crew badly, they may revolt, turn into spies or at worst go berserk! As such if you're looking for an almost life like experience of WW2 aboard a deadly Submarine, you really should be backing ' UBOOT '.

Main Features :

  • History based missions
  • Cross-sectioned detailed ship with animated devices and tanks
  • Dedicated advanced water system and fluid behaviour
  • Advanced physics for ship movement, diving and buoyancy
  • Open world
  • Ship customization and upgrades
