Forge - Adventure fan-made sequel to LucasArts, Loom : Chapter 1 released! [UPDATE]

I have just been informed by Abisso, that today is the release of the first chapter of this amazing looking retro inspired Adventure title of FORGE, and not just that, it's free. With a team of about 50 people that have worked on the game so far, which include artists, composers, voice-actors and testers you know you will be in for a treat. Follow the story of Rusty, who has taken it upon himself to rescue his family and home. Along the way he will meet a mix of eccentric characters from a variety of fantastic guilds, with all the charm that made Loom so enjoyable.

Forge is a fan-made sequel to Loom, LucasArts’ 1990 adventure-game masterpiece. Loom was supposed to have been followed by two additional stories, each following a different protagonist; but these games were sadly never made. Feeling that Loom deserved continuation, the developer has chosen to carry on the story in the same vintage pixel-art style of the early 1990s and have sought to honor the theme and story that made Loom one of the most amazing interactive stories released in that gaming era

UPDATE : 1.1v is available - This is an upgraded version of Chapter One, including requested features, extra content, support for translations, a new launcher, a Loom Recap video and much more.
