ReplyDeleteHallo again JOTD!...another great AMIGA work...congratulations!...but...please reply me...can you create an AMIGA porting of MIKIE?
DeleteI'm loving it when it works, but it's VERY VERY crashy on Amiberry, I don't think I've ever got to start my second life without the Red And White Texty Screen Of Death :(
ReplyDeleteI think your emulation is at fault. Winuae is good for CD32 emulation but other are maybe a bit late. It works on a real machine, I tested it myself.
DeleteThanx JOTD , this is 100 % perfect Work.
ReplyDeleteI may try the HD Version, as the CD32 version doesn't move onto the next life after I die. It just stops and doesn't accept any inputs from me to continue. It plays the music, as if you are going to go to your next life. Strangely enough, I thought it should show the map, then move to your next life, but it doesn't do that either. Very odd. It's like... you have 1 life, now deal with it. I wonder if it is DLC, like you have to pay for the other 2 lives...I've tried adding quarters or 10 pence's to my Amiga CD32, but it doesn't accept any form of currency... haha such is modern gaming. Hopefully there will be a fix for the CD32 issue.
ReplyDeleteany chance we can get an adf of this? i hate burning cue files and setting up WHDload stuff.
ReplyDeleteI read this on EAB "ADF would be possible, but there's no room for the in-game music without fast memory so that's a lot of work for people with fast memory and no hard drive."
DeleteYou need to burn the .cue file only if you have a CD32 console. Else it's useless. ADF would take at least 2 or 3 floppies. I told myself that anyone with fastmem (which that game requires unless you don't want the music or you're running the CD32 CDDA version) wouldn't object using whdload. For that game, 1) install whdload in C:, 2) unpack the archive 3) click on the icon.
Delete"ALL RIGHT RESEVED" instead of "ALL RIGHTS RESERVED"
ReplyDeleteTwo typos in the arcade game that could be fixed. ^^
@JOTD I have just seen a version with the faulty copyright text replaced by something like "AMIGA AGA BY JOTD" so disregard my previous message. ^^
ReplyDeleteYeah, Neil probably took a screenshot of MAME not my port. Easy mistake to make hehe
DeleteI took a screenshot from your first video wip and used that :(
DeleteFixed :p
DeleteGreat work JOTD as usual. Big thank you.
ReplyDeletehow do I run the cd32 version on Retroarch PUAE?. Can't get it to boot.
ReplyDeleteI don't know PUAE but it may be picky on CD32 titles. Try on WinUAE. Also try to see if some titles like Myth, Chuck Rock, Premiere, run on PUAE (same loading technology)
