Solseed: Journey to Spring is an updated release by developer marinovic, delivering yet another brilliant platformer designed specifically for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum 128K. Players will not only navigate a series of classic, screen-by-screen challenges that capture the true essence of vintage 1980s gaming! But there's themed areas such as deep winter woodlands, a heavy snow forest, melting fields, 42 rooms filled with aggressive enemies, environmental dangers, secrets, and branching paths that may lead you closer to your goal or much much further away from it.
The game follows the story of an Elf who awakens from his winter hibernation only to discover that springtime has failed to arrive. An unnatural, bitter frost has trapped the entire forest in ice and snow, silencing the woodlands and leaving ancient trees entombed. To restore warmth to his homeland and end the eternal winter, the Elf must venture out on a dangerous mission to recover 12 magical Solseeds—ancient items capable of melting the deep freeze and reviving nature.
