Silverrock Collection - A great easyflash release on the C64 featuring Hugo!

Many of you are probably still playing through the newly released preview of Galencia on the C64, but there's another special release that has recently appeared today and that's the Silverrock Collection released by SNAQZ. This easyflash cartridge bonanza took us completely by surprise as it's a tribute to some of the coolest and strangest games that have come from a company well known for putting games on the tv!

The Bard's Tale C64 - An Easyflash Cartridge RPG Release!

The Bard's Tale: Tales of the Unknown has been released as a CRT download suitable for installing on an Easyflash cartridge for the Commodore 64. This classic tile-based RPG is regarded as one of the founding fathers of the genre, and is still extremely playable. Even more so, now, as this Atlantis release has fixed the cumbersome multi-load format of the original cassette and disk versions. As well as adding new features such as extensive documentation including a handy map of "Skara Brae" (the main town where you start), German and English localisation, a new main menu with quick access to the Party creator, training modes and the game's first sound track which you can hear while reading the docs.

Caren and the Tangled Tentacles - An impressive adventure for the C64 gets an easyflash tease!

Last year we gave you the heads up for PriorArt's high quality adventure homebrew of ' Caren and the Tangled Tentacles ' for the C64. At the time we rated it as one of the best adventure games by a homebrew developer in a LucasArts style. It had great scene detail, lovely character animation, an easy to use control scheme and a great soundtrack. Well that same game has once again appeared in our footage news feed, but this time as a teased internal experimental Easyflash version of Caren, which shows a much faster almost non existing loading time between each scene.

Flimbo's Quest - Great fun platformer for the C64 + Intro [Easyflash]

This hot Summers day has just got even better as EDK,SAM have released the [Easyflash] version of 'Flimbo's Quest' for the C64, but with added intro! A game first released by System 3 for the C64, Amiga, Atari ST and Amstrad CPC in 1990, is a 2D Platformer with great retro detail, great gameplay and a soundtrack that is so upbeat you'll find it hard to stop listening to.

Turrican - Classic Action C64 release with Intro and Speech [Easyflash]

A rather famous game for this early evening is none other than Turrican for the C64. A game which has had countless cracks and trainers throughout the years has now appeared as an EasyFlash with added intro and speech by sceners EDK and SAM. Turrican was originally released in 1990 by Rainbow Arts and programmed by Manfred Trenz with an incredible soundtrack by Chris Huelsbeck. The game featured great shooting action, powerful weaponry and amazing game play that is still loved to this day.

Ghosts N Goblins and Commando Arcade - Easy flash double for the C64

Good afternoon gamers, it might be hot outside with the sun shining but have we got just the treat for you if you own a C64 or have the emulator Vice installed. This is a double explosion of fun, as n0stalgia have now released not just one great overhauled retro classic as an Easyflash, but two!
