Ghouls 'n Ghosts ARCADE EDITION that's in development for the SEGA Mega Drive looks super cool!

In 1988 Capcom released one of the finest Arcade games ever to grace the gaming scene, and that game was the incredible Ghouls 'n Ghosts which appeared on lots of different systems. It is a game that if you haven't played it, you are seriously missing out! So as a shout out to that awesome game of which I have played a lot, we have just found out through @ray_castello, that aMaru is working on a graphical hack of the Sega Mega Drive version which makes the game look super duper awesome!

Way back in 1985 Capcom released the start of one of the greatest side scrolling platform game series we have ever known. It featured a knight, creepy enemies, lots of graves and was extremely difficult to the point of frustration. The game I am talking about is of course ' Ghosts 'N Goblins ', the first game in the Ghosts 'n Goblins franchise which appeared on many different systems such as the Amstrad, C64 and even the ZX Spectrum. So for those of you who remember playing the game, may interested to know that we have just found out that Honcho, Nordischsound and Shine is working on a Ghosts 'N Goblins game for the C64 made in PETSCII called 'Sir Arthur'.

The Amstrad has really set the bar high for 8bit developed games this year, with incredible releases such as AMSTRED, Cosmic Gatlin', Wrecking Ball, and Wireware. But here's one game that I think that will really impress the Amstrad community as a complete overhaul, is the upcoming Amstrad Plus version of Ghosts 'n Goblins'; a soon to be released high quality version of GNG developed by Mathieu Delaruelle aka Hwikaa, Julien Riet aka Ixien and Golem 13.

But here's one game that I think that will really impress the Amstrad community as a complete overhaul, is the upcoming Amstrad Plus version of Ghosts 'n Goblins'; a soon to be released high quality version of GNG developed by Mathieu Delaruelle aka Hwikaa, Julien Riet aka Ixien and Golem 13.

Ghosts 'n Demons - A great Ghosts 'n Goblins fan game gets a performance update!


If you love the classic game of Ghosts 'n Goblins, then you'll be pleased to know that we've just found out that the 'Ghosts 'n Demons' game, which is a 30th anniversary fan game to that classic game, has been updated to v1.8.6a with further improvements by BonusJZ. In this game you once again play as Sir Arthur, a knight on a quest against evil forces. You must rescue Princess Prin Prin's who has been kidnapped and fight your way through dozens of enemies such as Demons, Ghosts and Zombies!

The Amstrad more especially the plus range including the GX4000, is really starting to impress especially with the incredible Pinball Dreams on the CPC range which was released in 2019, and  the teased Sonic game of Sonic GX which is also coming to the GX4000/Plus. But today's news update is once again showing us just how good the Amstrad is. As thanks to another heads up by Golem13, he has shown another work in progress video update of the upcoming Ghosts 'n Goblins overhaul that is coming to the Amstrad 6128 Plus.

The Amstrad more especially the plus range including the GX4000, is really starting to impress especially with the Shadow of the Beast demo shown off on the Amstrad CPC Plus in 2017, the incredible Pinball Dreams on the CPC range which was released in 2019, and finally the teased Sonic game of Sonic GX which is also coming to the GX4000/Plus! But today's news update is once again showing us just how good the Amstrad is. As thanks to a heads up by Golem13, he has not only shown us some new screenshots from the upcoming Ghosts 'n Goblins overhaul, but a new preview demo has also been made available for the Amstrad Plus with at least 128K ram!

Ghosts'n DJs - Ghosts 'n Goblins inspired game gets a FREE Steam release


Another announcement for the Ghosts 'n Goblins inspired game of 'Ghosts 'n DJ's', as Bluesnews has told us the game has officially been released on Steam and can be download for both PC and MAC. This game according to the creators as an inspiration of the 1985 hit classic, is a pixel-art run and gun side-scrolling action platformer set in a parallel universe in which the music scene is being dominated by fake artists and DJ’s.

Top news from the CPCWiki forums as Nemo Kantio has given us a brand new update for his upcoming Ghosts 'n Goblins overhaul, on the GX4000. Originally released way back in the 80's and ported to a number of platforms, Ghosts 'n Goblins was one of the best action adventure games I have ever played featuring a knight, creepy enemies, lots of graves, a wicked soundtrack and a high level of difficulty. So you can excuse my excitement as Nemo Kantio has released a new video for his Ghosts 'n Goblins overhaul which is known as Ghouls 'n Goblins.

Ghosts 'n DJ's - A different take on the Ghosts 'N Goblins classic


Dr. Kucho! Games have announced the launch of a Kickstarter campaign for Ghosts 'n DJ's; A PC, Mac, Linux game based on a very retro classic that nearly everyone has heard of, Ghosts 'n Goblins. Originally released in 1985, Ghost 'n Goblins was a hit Arcade Platform game that has a multitude of ports and is still loved to this day. Thankfully the developers have assured us through their campaign that Ghosts 'n DJ's will be very much like the classic but with a far more modern twist.
