Future Fighter - A little blaster released by Misfit for the Vic-20

VIC-20 owners are you feeling left out? Well worry not! As if you've got the cash, Misfit and The Future Was 8bit have announced 'Future Fighter' for the VIC-20. A new game which is not only available as a digital download, but also as a physical order through TFW8! This charming little game may not look like much, but there's plenty of fun to be had blasting waves of enemies heading your way. To coincide with this news, Saberman has provided a video showing the game in action.

RodMän Jr+ advanced version - A charming C64 game as a Reset64 4KB Craptastic game competition entry!

It feels like it was only just yesterday that we announced Misfit's ' Rodman ', a multi-platform Pac-Man style game with some very cool yet unique differences, that put you in control of Rodman who must collect all the dots in each of the many maze levels while avoiding enemies such as Naughty Nic and Dirty Tim. Well here we are with another RodMan story, as we've just found out through a good friend of ours, that Misfit has also recently released RodMän Jr and RodMän Jr+ Advanced; A charming C64 game as a Reset64 4KB Craptastic game competition entry!

Crazy Blaster - An enjoyable multi-system game makes its appearance by Misfit!

Another retro gaming news story has hit our inbox, as Saberman was kind enough to let us know, that if you're looking for a game that works on an Amstrad, C64 or ZX Spectrum, then you might like to play Misfit's new game of ' Crazy Blaster '; A game by the same creator who also released games such as Super Goatron, Rodman Special Edition and Cheese And Onion.

Misfit is certainly no stranger to us on Indie Retro News, creating great games such as Cheese And Onion and Pilot Attack to name but a few. But now with the RGCD C64 16KB Cartridge Game Dev Compo in nearly everyones minds, he's gone and created a game called ' Super Goatron '. A brilliant little C64 game presented by The Future Was 8 Bit in which you need to destroy moving enemies as you traverse around the edge of a rather uniqly designed level.

Cheese And Onion - There's no crisps in this commercial VIC-20 game!

This charming little game staring Dr.Tynehul, features lots of platforming fun as you jump over enemies to collect items all the while admiring the impressive scrolling!

Pilot Attack - Stay in flight and don't crash into the ZX 48k landscape

A new ZX Spectrum game to play for the beginning of the week and this one is by Misfit, published by The Future Was 8 Bit and is called ' Pilot Attack '. Released for the 48k and as a horizontally scrolling shooter, you must guide your tiny little plane through Thrust like landscapes, while also avoiding or shooting at enemies that come at you from a number of different directions.

Pentagorat 2016 - An isometric adventure launched for the Commodore VIC-20

We are turning back the clock even further now away from the Amiga and looking towards the Commodore VIC-20 for our gaming fix, as Misfit has made available his homebrew isometric adventure game ' Pentagorat 2016 ' for the VIC-20. Released as a short game with a similar design style to that of Head over Heels. You play as a strange looking black creature who wakes up and can't remember exactly where he is, although all we know is he is a prisoner of the castle of Pentagorat!

Dork Dave And The Dirty Trick - A new platformer for the Commodore 16.

This must be one of our first C16 announcements as we've just been informed through the RVG Forums, of ' Dork Dave And The Dirty Trick '; a new platformer by Misfit that gives us the old school charm of Mario, takes us back to the 1980s and adds in lovely smooth scrolling that's all playable either on a Commodore 16+mem or through the emulator WinVice.
