This UNREAL ENGINE 4 Remake of the Commodore 64 'Uridium' looks spectacular!

A long time ago Hewson Consultants made great games for old retro computers such as the fantastic Uridium, Paradroid, Cybernoid, Exolon, Nebulus and many more were just some of the games they released that many of us have played and enjoyed. Well if you loved playing Uridium and want to see what the original game would look like developed by a fan using Unreal Engine 4, then you might want to check out this remake of the 8bit classic, as it looks spectacular!

The Siege and The Sandfox - Metroidvania with stealth looks beautiful


It is not often we talk about games with lush graphics and interesting gameplay, but it looks as if The Siege and The Sandfox could be the next best thing if you're into Metroidvania's. You see this game in development by Cardboard Sword and published by Chucklefish isn't your average platformer, as according to the team behind the game, this is a Stealthvania. An infusion of stealth into the familiar Metroidvania experience, creating a unique twist on the ever-popular genre lovingly realised in an evocative 2D art style, enriched with the power of Unreal Engine 4

Backbone is a brand new game from EggNut Studio on Kickstarter



EggNut Studio has a wonderful Kickstarter campaign to help them finish out their game, Backbone. Built on the Unreal Engine 4, it is expected to be released in 2019 on Windows, Mac and Linux with consoles to be announced. English and Russian languages supported on release, with others to be announced. Expected price is $20.00 (USD).

Red Alert 2 remade in Unreal Engine 4 and featuring VR!


One of our good friends Ethan Knight has just come across a really eye opening bit of news, as the RTS classic ' Red Alert 2 ' developed by Westwood Studios and published by EA in 2000, has been shown off as a proof of concept in Unreal Engine 4 by Ádám Horváth. Not just that, but this seriously good RTS which is still very playable today, is being played using VR (HTC Vive in room scale mode). I think you'll agree this is mighty impressive and shows off the follow-up to Command & Conquer: Red Alert in a completely new light.
