Super Mario Bros. S - A collaborative fan game available as a download or browser play

I have always had a soft spot for Super Mario Bros, ever since I first played it as a kid all those years ago in America on the NES. Its one of those timeless games that you never can get tired of. Its super simple to learn and control for new players and the gameplay is also simple but at the same time it can be very challenging. Well if you remember playing the game ( Who doesn't ) you may be interested to know that as of today, Superpi2 has made available Super Mario Bros. S; a collaborative fangame, meant to embody the spirit of modern Super Mario platformers while utilizing the styles of older titles playable through your Browser or as a download.

Dungeons and Dragons Animated Series Fan Based Brawler gets a PC release!

I'm sure you'll agree with me there are some very good OpenBOR games out there, taking the best of well known characters from fighting anime's and movies and putting them against deadly foes in the latest fan based games. But today we have a special treat for those of you who grew up through the 80's, as ZVitor has released the Dungeons and Dragons Animated Series (Fan Game): A direct homage to Capcom's classic D&D Arcades such as "King of Dragons" and one of the best Cartoon TV shows which ran from 1983 through to 1985.

This UNREAL ENGINE 4 Remake of the Commodore 64 'Uridium' looks spectacular!

A long time ago Hewson Consultants made great games for old retro computers such as the fantastic Uridium, Paradroid, Cybernoid, Exolon, Nebulus and many more were just some of the games they released that many of us have played and enjoyed. Well if you loved playing Uridium and want to see what the original game would look like developed by a fan using Unreal Engine 4, then you might want to check out this remake of the 8bit classic, as it looks spectacular!

Altered Beast - A classic Arcade beat em up, given the fan treatment

The 13th Doll - Unofficial 7th Guest Sequel has been announced and set for Halloween

Way back in the 90's Trilobyte with publishing by Virgin Interactive Entertainment released the interactive movie puzzle adventure game ' The 7th Guest ' on multiple systems including CDI, PC and MAC. It was a first person horror game with adult content, that featured live action video clips and pre-rendered 3D graphics that made it a huge success for its time. If you've been living in a cave or just too young, you'd probably wouldn't remember one of the greatest retro games of all time, the 1981 Nintendo game ' Donkey Kong '. A game in which you played as Mario that must avoid obstacles across a number of platforms, with sometimes a hammer in hand to save a damsel in distress from a giant ape called Donkey Kong. Alex Kidd in Miracle World 2 - A fan sequel to a classic Sega Master System game you've just got to play!

In 1987 Sega released the great side-scrolling platform game ' Alex Kidd ' for the Sega Master System console. Although it was first released in Japan in 1986 but internationally in 1987, it was one of the most well known games as it was also built into most Master System II's. For anyone that has played the rather enjoyable original, will be pleased to know that a creator by the name of Ian has released ' Alex Kidd in Miracle World 2 ', which is a direct fan sequel to the original Alex Kidd in Miracle World and features more than just a new title screen!

Sonic the Hedgehog Time Twisted - A high grade Sonic fan game, finally gets a release!

Do we have some great retro gaming news for you, as that legendary game character Sonic from the Sonic the Hedgehog game series, which appeared on multiple systems including the Sega Master System and Sega Game Gear, has appeared in an all new high grade fan game as 'Sonic the Hedgehog Time Twisted', which has finally been released. Developed using GameMaker Studio, this latest fan game is modelled after Sonic CD, Sonic 3 and Knuckles, and features a new story in which you need to collect Chaos Emerald and Time Stones to stop Metal Sonic from resurrecting his creator.

Rayman: The Dark Magician's Reign of Terror - Unofficial fan game released by Raymanni

Truth be told we are always mentioning Dizzy fan games, Zelda fan games or even games such as those related to Sonic or Mario, but there's one character we haven't mentioned before and that's of our personal favourite, Rayman. During these last few months I've been addicted to Rayman Origins on the Xbox 360 and have even played the classic Rayman on the PS1, but this Rayman titled as Rayman: The Dark Magician's Reign of Terror, is a fan game released by Raymanni for the PC.

It's amazing to think that Megaman also known as Rockman, is one of Capcom's most famous game franchises and one of the most renowned games of all time. CD32X-men Mind Games - Unreleased 32X title makes an appearance on the Amiga

We are only one day into 2017 and already the news is making a highlight on the Amiga and Amiga CD32, as we are welcoming ' CD32X-men: Mind Games ' into the new year. This is a rather unusual first person shooter that was actually going to be released on the Sega 32x by Scavenger, who are well known for making great games on the Sega Mega Drive. Sadly this game never made it to the 32x as it was cancelled in 1996 and was never seen again, at least until now. Thanks once again to the hardwork of the Amiga community, CD32X-men: Mind Games has been released on the Amiga and Amiga CD32.

Super Mario Bros. X 2.0 - Top quality fun for all retro gaming Mario fans

More fantastic news today as Horikawa Otane has released the very latest version of Super Mario Bros. X 2.0. This is a rather large and impressive Mario fan game with well over 50 levels blending elements from Super Mario 1, 2, 3 and World.
