While many of you are excited to learn that Aloft's Zelda inspired RPG of HAZELNUT BASTILLE is a huge Kickstarter success raising £116,390 of a £51,027 goal and still 20 hours to go. You may also be interested to know that the same team have recently announced Dawnthorn; a standalone prequel to Hazelnut Bastille, set in the same universe as Hazelnut, but instead is more inspired to classic NES RPG's whereas Hazelnut Bastille compares more to classic games found on the SNES and Sega Megadrive.
Dawnthorn is a charming and colourful action adventure RPG, that mixes it up with Zelda and other such amazing games found on consoles such as the NES with a beautiful world to explore with all the secrets and mysteries you'd expect coupled with a fast paced action oriented combat system that is sure to excite any Zelda fan. Furthermore the game is built on the same engine as Hazelnut although more inspired to 8bit games, and will also feature lots of dungeons, an overworld brimming with secrets and is projected to be 12-15 hours in game time and Backers get it for Free!
Available Spring of 2019! It should come to Windows / Mac / Linux to start, and possibly the Switch and PS4 if it does well enough at initial release!
