Fancy another quality release for the Commodore PET, then you've come to the right place! As thanks to another heads up by a good friend of ours on both Facebook and Twitter, we've just learnt of a new game that you can play right now called 'PETSCII Bros' by Jimbo; an Arcade homage to that classic game of Mario Bros which was released way back in 1983. To coincide with this news, the creator has also provided a video showing the game in action.
Here is what Jimbo says about his game. "This Commodore PET game has similar game mechanics to the original Mario Bros arcade game. Hit the floor under the turtles to flip them, and jump up to kick them. A one or two player action game made for the TOJam 2023 game jam. Mario Bros is not that well known .. it came after Donkey Kong but before Super Mario Bros, introduced Luigi for the first time and also changed Mario from a carpenter into the plumber that we know today".
