It featured kick ass weaponry, hand crafted textures and sprites and much much more, in all of its hand-crafted pixelated glory. Kingpin: Reloaded - A Violent FPS classic remastered & enhanced, coming later this year!

One of the finest games I remember from late 1999 that featured so much graphical violence I was surprised I ever got to play it, was the classic first person shooter Kingpin Life of Crime: a controversal game whereby graphic depiction of violence and heavy use of profanity, gained a lot of media attention even with an 18 certifact slapped on the front of the box! For those of you who never got a chance to play this game, will now get that chance and more. As 3D Realms has just announced the Kingpin : Reloaded edition. A remastered and enhanced version of the crime-themed first-person shooter classic!

Don't get me wrong I do like playing modern first person shooters such as Shadow Warrior or even  Wolfenstein, but in all honesty I prefer playing the much older types, the original early 90's gun in hand blasters such as the original Doom or even Wolfenstein 3D. So it stands to reason why I just had to mention the first person retro inspired game ' Ion Fury '; A game that is not only going to be available today for PC and Linux and out of Early Access...But it's using the famous Build engine from 3D Realms! 3D Realms is alive again! 32 game Anthology released!

What an incredible Friday it is, with Cinemaware's latest release news and now we have 3D Realms coming back from the dead. It's such a great moment to be a gamer, as after many years the hit company is returning with brand new games, new talent and that kick ass enthusiasm! The return will also feature the original team such as Scott Miller and Bryan Turner and what's more, to announce this news the developers have released for $19.99 an awesome anthology of 32 classic games!
