Powerglove Reloaded - An awesome game by Lazycow and Pierre 'Cyborgjeff' Martin released for the Amiga
In 2013 Lazycow released the C64 run 'n' shooter as an entry in the 2013 RGCD 16K C64 Game Development competition, with a final version in 2014 as a 16KB physical game cartridge, and then a much more improved version in 2015 as an exclusive PC release featuring not just minor enhancements such as such as parallax scrolling but a optional pimped sprite work. Well if you remember this fantastic game, you'll be pleased to know that as of today the game is now available as a full Amiga port, both as a digital download and full boxed edition by Lazycow and Pierre 'Cyborgjeff' Martin through RGCD.
Bruce Lee inspired game ' Tiger Claw ' arriving on the Amiga before Christmas
Well this is fabulous news, as earlier today we found out that RGCD's brilliant Bruce Lee inspired game 'Tiger Claw', will be coming to the Amiga and Amiga CD32 just in time for Christmas. This game was originally released for the C64 developed by Lazycow and Saul Cross with an exclusive release on cartridge by RGCD for backers of the C64 in Pixels Kickstarter, before it became available to the general public as a digital download.
Wolfling Preview - Nesdev game previewed on the C64
Last year 2017 Lazycow was developing a platforming game for the NES as an entry for the 2017 Nesdev competition. It gained favourable feedback during that time with one such member noting the game had nice level design, felt non linear and incredibly moody with rather nice animation. Well the news of this week is, this NES game is currently being ported over to the C64 by the same developer with a preview tease also made available through CSDb by Excess.
Powerglove - The most ambitious Lazycow WIP Amiga game to date from the C64
In 2013 Lazycow released the C64 run 'n' shooter as an entry in the 2013 RGCD 16K C64 Game Development competition, where it came 3rd place out of 15. This same game then appeared as a final version and released as a 16KB physical game cartridge much later in 2014. But not stopping there, in 2015 the game was made available as an exclusive PC, MAC and Linux version based on the original with some minor enhancements, such as parallax scrolling and optional pimped spritework. But after all that you'd think the game wouldn't appear on any other systems seeing as it had gone from the retro to the modern. But during the early hours of today, RGCD has announced the Amiga conversion and in their words " Powerglove is already shaping up to be his most ambitious Amiga game to date ".
Pharaohs Return - A beautiful C64 style game in development!
Way back in 2012, May 26th to be precise, a C64 styled game in development largely went unnoticed in the retro gaming scene. It looked to have all the hallmarks of a fantastic game, with some incredible detail that even C64 owners would probably drool at the thought of playing. Welcome to 'Pharaohs Return'; a current indie game development by Lazycow that looks just like Rick Dangerous, with enemies such as bats and beasts, underground tombs and caves, ropes to climb, vines to swing on, deadly traps and platforms that move.
