Rogue - Dmitry Krapivin's Roguelike release for the ZX Spectrum


We've had a lot of Amiga and C64 news this week, so to balance it all out we have a new ZX Spectrum game to show you in the form of a roguelike called ' Rogue ', which was developed by Dmitry Krapivin. Now if you like traversing through maze like levels and battling deadly enemies then read on, as Rogue might just be the game for you!

Rogue +6DGM - A nice C64 roguelike fixed and fully playable by Hokuto Force


Moving on from all the tasty game jams we now look towards the C64, as Hokuto Force have released an enhanced, fixed, trainered and fully playable version of 'Rogue', which was originally released in the 1980's for the Amstrad CPC, C64 and ZX Spectrum under the Mastertronic Label, with other versions for the Amiga, DOS, Macintosh, TOPS-20, TRS-80 CoCo and Unix. Regarded as a turn-based dungeon crawling roguelike, you are an adventurer that must explore the Dungeons of Doom, to retrieve the precious Amulet of Yendor!

Rogue Legacy - A Rogue-lite Action Platformer with extra bits of kickass!


Rogue Legacy is a new Rogue-"lite" Action Platformer game for the PC,Mac and Linux from developers Cellardoorgames.  This looks to be a kick ass game, as there's so much to do in Rogue Legacy, that it could well be a gaming hit. With a procedurally generated castle, 8 unique classes to choose from, tons of loot, a massive skill tree and a great cartoonish art style, what more could you want? Ok then, here's more! You can even equip runes and customize your character with some very strange results.
