Underworld Ascendant - An all time classic RPG overhauled prototype footage


Earlier in the year we gave you the big heads up over Otherside Entertainment's Kickstarter success of the overhauled RPG of ' Underworld Ascendant '; a dungeon crawler that seeks to give the player the ability to progress through exploration and experimentation, rather than scripted solutions; a rekindled legendary game in the fantasy RPG series. Well those of you who pledged over $300 in funding had the chance to play the prototype, and as such, a member by the name of DawnrazorDCLXVI recently released a video play through!

After this years Kickstarter success for Otherside Entertainment's overhauled RPG of ' Underworld Ascendant ' which raised $860,356 in pledging, The creative team behind the original Ultima Underworld and System Shock have today released a very early footage video showing actual gameplay of this modern take on the classic Dungeon Crawler.

Brilliant news for Otherside Entertainment as their overhauled, modernised sequel to an all time classic game 'Ultima Underworld' titled 'Underworld Ascendant' is now officially a Kickstarter success! With only just a few days to go and some concerns it wasn't going to make it at the half way point, we will now be able to play this rekindled legendary fantasy RPG series late 2016.

Hot off the press and just announced, OtherSide Entertainment have now begun their Kickstarter campaign for 'Underworld Ascendant'; an overhauled, modernised sequel to the all time legendary RPG games 'Ultima Underworld' & 'Ultima Underworld 2'.  The developers are aiming for a $600,000 goal and have mentioned the sequel will have more modern visuals and a user interface to take advantage of today's powerful PC's.

Underworld Ascension - The incredible RPG Ultima Underworld is BACK!


Hot off the press, OtherSide Entertainment has just announced they will be rebooting an all time classic RPG, Ultima Underworld for more modern systems. Titled, Underworld Ascension, the developers will be bringing back the classic with some of the original team from the original franchise and headed by the original Underworld designer Paul Neurath. This is pretty incredible news as Ultima Underworld was an all time classic Dungeon Crawling RPG released in the early 90's that was cited as the first role-playing game to feature first-person action in a 3D environment.
