Robocop - Amstrad movie classic remade for the PC!

Now this is a real blast from the past and not only a well known game, but a game from a movie that pretty much everyone would have heard of at least once while growing up. Let me just shout the name out in large caps to grab your attention 'ROBOCOP'. That's right retro heads this is Robocop originally published by Ocean in the 80's, that's now available as a PC remake. But not just any remake but the Amstrad version in HD, with smooth 60fps scrolling and added 2 player co-op mode, developed by Park Productions!

Usually when it comes to remakes especially from the Amstrad or ZX Spectrum games, they are pretty poor and actually worse than the originals, but not so with this one. Not only is it very smooth with precise multi-directional shooting and a joy to play with nostalgic memories flooding back, but to listen to that original 8-bit soundtrack blasting out from each speaker makes this a worthy game in a list of recommendations. It's just a shame due to time restrictions I was not able to play this game all day, so I didn't get to finish the levels. But my weekend will be sorted as I'll be playing this right to the end!
