Doomstalker - arcade pseudo-isometric action shooter (Kickstarter)

A new kickstarter has just surfaced and it's called Doomstalker. Which is an arcade psuedo-isometric action shooter by UFNA for the iOS, PC and Mac, combining the best traditions of classic shooters.  You'll be fighting any number of enemies in the fight to survive, either through single player, co-op, arena or duel based game modes. Your player in such dangerous situations will be provided with a powerful set of weaponry from a small pistol to a rather large gun.

As you progress, the character in which you play can have his armour and inventory improved through samples of dark matter, which will help against wave after wave of rather terrifying enemies. Hopefully the enemies are varied enough to keep the game play flowing, as I do like a nicely designed creature attacking you from all angles. But what good is a shooter without a story, well, Doomstalker has one!

You play the role of a space marine landed on the mysterious Object 001. The contact with the secret laboratory, created under the slogan “the art in technology”, was suddenly lost. The soldier goes to investigate the weird incident. This is an enthralling story that consists of eight large logically bound episodes and divided into three chapters. Exciting levels with many geometrical puzzles and secrets that will become a real challenge for most players.

So check out the trailer below as currently the information in the kickstarter is rather sparse, but the game may appeal to you.

Currently the kickstarter is at $36.00 pledged of a very modest $12,000 goal, so it should do ok!
