FROGS - A C64 4 player homebrew which was released for the Atari STe gets an update!

In 2017 we announced the release of the C64 4 player title ' Frogs '; a game which was developed by Christian Gleinser of Dr. Wuro Industries as a great game in which you play as a little frog that has to jump across from rock to lily pad, while trying not to fall in as the lily pads vanish or not being knocked off by your opponent. Well if you loved the game and have an Atari STe, you'll be pleased to know that as of just recently, the Atari STe version of 'Frogs' by anarcholab! has been updated and is available via itch io.

The last retro gaming article today and one I think you'll be playing throughout the weekend, especially with a friend, is a new game for the Commodore 64 called 'Straight Up'. This game developed by Christian and released at the DoReCo Party 2021, is an up to 4 player party game, in which playing as vegetables, you need to bounce ever higher and hope one of your "ahem" friends fall off and you win the round!

Good morning all, a new C64 game to start the day, and this one is called ' Frogs ' and was developed by Christian Gleinser of Dr. Wuro Industries. Classed as a 4 player arcade game ( good luck finding 4 people ), you play as a little frog that has to jump across from rock to lily pad, while trying not to fall in as the lily pads vanish. But as an extra bit of fun factor, you also have a powerful tongue that if used at the right time can knock your opponent into the water with a big splash!

Legends of Pixelia - Action RPG of procedurally generated dungeons

Legends of Pixelia is an action RPG currently in development by Florian “Sima” Siemer (SimaGames), and features procedurally generated dungeons, modern gameplay mechanics along with retro pixelart. The game can be played via keyboard, however it is best to gather some friends and plug in multiple gamepads for player versus player combat and up to 4 player gameplay which looks to be a seriously fun aspect to this game.
