Top 11 Amstrad CPC Games of 2020

The year 2020 was a bit of a rubbish time for most people of the world... but there was some bright lights that were shone. Coders for the Amstrad CPC got hard at work and produced some of the finest games seen in many years. The amount of quality in particular was a step ahead of previous years, so making this Top 11 was trickier than ever before to wheedle down to the best 11.

Remember that feeling you had when you were waiting for your favourite computer magazine to come out? We've got that feeling again right now, thanks to Chris Wilkins (The Story of Commodore 64 in Pixels) who has announced that he hopes to bring back Zzap! 64 for a very special annual edition. I also check the turf on the Spectrum and the Game Boy.

NRG: Complete Playthrough - Wild Streets [Amstrad GX4000]

Ever since the popular Kung-Fu Master, 2D beat 'em ups reached a pinnacle in the late 80's/early 90's with many falling into the 'mediocre' category. Wild Streets is one such title. Brought to us by Titus Software 1990, James Taylor's goon-bashing exploits reached several systems including the Amiga, ST and C64. Surprisingly, it also got a release on the Amstrad GX4000. One of the 15 games ported from the CPC version,
