CityCat Prowl - This teased cat project for C64 and PC by Polytricity, is looking rather decent! [V0.12 UPDATE]

What do you get if you mix up the isometric style of The Last Ninja and blend it altogether with a bit of cat complexities? Probably this game! A new Commodore 64 project by Polytricity called 'CityCat Prowl'. This game, created by Robert Ramsay, will have you not only playing as a friendly feline, but you'll also be prowling through dynamic environments both above and below ground, while also completing tasks and interacting with other characters. So yes, this is one game that, if it does gets finished, may well be a big hit with the C64 community.

Mad Moggy - Platforming fun with a crazy cat for the Commodore 64 by VisualImpact

While the latest news has been a bit slow this week, with google AI being an annoyance, and it's just too hot to write. I thought I'd give a quick shout out to this family friendly game that was released by VisualImpact called 'Mad Moggy' for the Commodore 64. A game in which you play as a crazy cat, and must collect all the required items through each of the many levels without falling down or hitting skulls. Do note however the game is constantly being updated and was originally created for the Platform Game Jam.

Bastet - A Cat game appears for the ZX Spectrum by ZXdeveloper

Thanks to another heads up by Saberman who has just posted a gameplay video, he has told us that ZXdeveloper has made available the new Arcade Platformer for the ZX Spectrum called 'Bastet'. A game in which you play as a desert Cat set in Egypt, and must rescue your partner without getting into trouble. To coincide with this news, as ever we've got another screenshot from the game, as well as a 5min gameplay video.

Another game news story has been sent to us, as we've recently been informed through Facebook, that if you're looking for a family friendly game to play on your ZX Spectrum, then make sure to check out Retrobensoft's latest 8bit release of 'Tuerkas The White Cat'; a game in which you play as a Cat on a personal quest to find 8 fish with the highest levels of contamination. To coincide with this news, as ever Saberman has also done a video showing the game being played.

This isn't a brand new game, but it's a game we should've mentioned when it was released. As not only is it lovably cute, but if you've got young kids, this would be a great start to their early adventure years! Blue and Moon Jolly Cats - Puzzle fun for all the Family (Android/iOS)

Probably one of the cutest games to come to Kickstarter is Blue and Moon Jolly Cats, a Puzzle game that's fun for all the family. Thanks to the developer Konstantin Salanda, he brings us a story about a homeless cat called Blue, who falls in love with another female cat called Moon. But nothing is easy in love, as you must progress through the levels of logic and item use to reach your girlfriend. The graphics are well designed with a cartoon like style and lots of cute characters, just check out the cats and say " awwww ".
