Diablo - Could this hellish classic be coming to the Amiga as an unofficial port?

I'm sure many of you remember the hellish classic of ' Diablo '; an action RPG hack and slasher released way back in 1996 with highly favourable reviews from across the globe, gaining that top PC spot for a good number of months. But did you know that as of this time there is progress to port the game over to the Amiga? Well good news it's actually happening! As thanks to a heads up from Solo, we've been told Daniel Müßener (Daytona) and Marlon @ AmigaDev.com / Vampire team, are aiming to bring Diablo to both classic and high end Amiga's.

This month has been completely mind blowing for news updates, especially with games announced such as The Age of Heroes, Celtic Heart, Rygar AGA, The Shadows of Sergoth, and even Bruce Lee The Return of Fury. Book of Demons - Unique paper hack n slash dungeon crawler coming to Steam Early Access (28th of July)

During the early part of this year we gave you the big heads up for Thing Trunks hack n slash RPG dungeon crawler ' Book of Demons ', which was due to be released towards the end of 2016. Well fast forward to this month and after a slew of big awards, the developers have announced the game is going to be available as early access on Steam - 28th of July! So Diablo gamers across the globe, get ready to play a very unique dungeon crawler that features paper cut-out graphics and deck building gameplay, unprecedented accessibility, and a dark theme intertwined with a fair dose of humour any fan of classic games should enjoy, one not to be missed!

Immortal Empire - Tactical based RPG coming to Steam

Here at Indie Retro News we do like a good RPG, especially ones that involve lots of tactical based game play with plenty of fighting, skills and loot. So the recent mention of 'Immortal Empire; a great browser based multi-player game set in a fantasy universe, is coming to Steam for the PC, we were most certainly interested. With a mix of X-Com and a side order of Diablo, Immortal Empire will be significantly improved upon from the browser based offering!

Eitr - An action RPG you'll not want to miss!

Developed by Eneme Entertainment in partnership with Devolver Digital, 'Eitr' is the latest Action RPG that is at the highest point on my wishlist. It is an Indie game that doesn't just have great pixel art, but it looks to take on Diablo with inspirations from Dark Souls and Golden Axe and give the genre a kick up the rear. The game according to the developers, will be challenging, require timing and precision as players need to use a combination of blocking, combos, buffs and positioning to succeed in battle. In light of this news the creators have released a gameplay trailer!

Diablo 1 HD MOD - Belzebub - Demonic ARPG classic gets a glorious overhaul

Wojtek25, that guy from Diablo, has once again given us the prod to take a look at probably the best HD mod of Diablo you'll ever see. Titled "Diablo 1 HD MOD", codenamed Belzebub, overhauls many aspects of the Action RPG hit, that had gamers glued to the screen killing horrific beasts, collecting loot and levelling up as you take control of a hero battling to rid the world of Diablo. Featuring increased resolutions, new locations, new items and much more, there is no doubt that if you try this mod, you won't go back to the original Diablo. Read on for the change log
