Revision 2019 was incredible, and EON on the Amiga blew us away!

This weekend I was watching the latest Amiga intro's from creators around the world being shown at the Revision 2019 demo party. This is a place that features lots of competitions, events, music acts, seminar's and much more that makes it the place to be to see some of the most jaw dropping creations, such as this one from The Black Lotus. The name of this brilliant piece of work, is none other than ' EON ' for the Amiga. An incredible demo showing, which makes it even more amazing is the fact it was running on a Commodore Amiga 500!

Press Play On Pad - The Demoscene collection for the Amiga CD32

After every Christmas some people make New Years resolutions, and mine is to get an Amiga CD32 because there have been so many releases for the system such as this one by Cobe ' Press Play on Pad : The Demoscene Collection ' that now is the right time to get one. In actual fact with all the games we've been getting this new addition to the library makes the package pretty much complete, especially as it features 32 wicked demoscene productions on a single disc, almost all AGA titles!

X'2016 - The C64 had one hell of a demoparty!

There is nothing more satisfying than being at a demo party, listening to some fine tunes and seeing the best demo's that each retro machine has to offer. Yet this year at the X'2016 in the Netherlands for the C64, it was one hell of an incredible event, celebrated with demo's, graphics and music that blew even my mind. In fact during the competition results, there were 21 demos, 28 musical tracks, 17 graphics and 7 mixed graphics that were listed in the competition, each one showing the amazing talent and skill that were put into them... Seriously some must have taken hours if not weeks. So lets show off some those videos shall we, you'll not want to miss these.

Finally after all that waiting, it was the Amiga's time to shine and boy did it shine at Revision 2016! It may have started on a bit of a slow point but by the end of it, I had my speakers turned way up and my jaw was on the floor! In all over 10 entries appeared and yet one of them I think will be a first place winner at the event, and that had to be the Number 08, ' Dolor Sit Amet by Lorem Ipsum '. Not only was it graphically impressive, but it had a brilliant tune to go with it, one that caused the crowd to cheer in delight!

ReSeT 20 DemoParty Winning Entries? [UPDATE]

Just last month the Amstrad Push'n'Pop demo party of ReSeT #20 was set to astound retro gamers with talented sceners showing off their artwork and music in the city of Countances, located in north west France. A success since 2000, the event is open to all retro gamers no matter their level and interest, with the latest demos released on Atari ST, Atari XL, C64 and ZX Spectrum. But what really stands out are the winning entries in the competition ranging from combined demo's to graphics and music which will be voted for and the winning entries announced very soon [See Update]. So without further ado, here are our personal graphical choices!

C64 Demos 2013/14 - Impressive demo scene experience

Although we've done a number of Amstrad and C64 remixes we haven't featured an actual C64 demo scene before and that is about to change today!
