Final Fight Enhanced - Hot News!! An enhanced Amiga version of a classic Beat 'em up from 1991 is finally here!

This week just gets better and better for the latest Amiga news stories, as thanks to a heads up from a good friend of ours on the EAB forums, we've been told that Brick Nash has finally released the enhanced version of the 1991 US GOLD published Beat 'em up of 'Final Fight' for the Amiga; A game that when it was originally released back in the 90's, was regarded as either a failure, or just a pretty terrible game suffering the same fate as the Street Fighter II Amiga port ". To coincide with this news, provided below is the latest footage of this incredible looking enhanced version of Final Fight.

For those of you who are looking for a great Commodore amiga news story, will be excited for this announcement. As we have just been given the heads up via Walter Mamo in our Commodore Amiga Facebook group, that Prototron is working on an Enhanced version of the Arcade game of 'FINAL FIGHT'. A game that was originally released back in 1989-1991 but is regarded by many as a BAD port by U.S. Gold. As in the words of one such gamer "Looked great in the mags, looked great during the intro, but everything changed rapidly when the game actually started".

Mega Final Fight - The Sega Mega Drive Arcade like version of Final Fight gets its first demo!

For those of you who are looking for a great Sega Mega Drive news story for Christmas, will be excited for this announcement. As we have just been tagged via Ray Castello that Mauro Xavier together with Edmo Caldas and Master Linkuei, have released the first demo for the upcoming Sega Mega Drive/Genesis version of Mega Final Fight. A full work load of bringing Final Fight over to the Sega Mega Drive with with improved character designs, better graphics, more faithful sounds, a new 2 player auto mode and much much more. As one person puts it "This looks way better than the Sega CD port already".

For those of you looking for some HOT Sega Mega Drive news have come to the right place, as thanks to ray_castello who gave us the heads up via Twitter, we have been told that Mauro Xavier together with Edmo Caldas and Master Linkuei, are working on bringing Final Fight over to the Sega Mega Drive as Final Fight Ultimate. Yes indeed this rather famous beat 'em up which appeared in the Arcades, the SNES, the Sega CD and even 8bit systems, is finally coming to the Sega Mega Drive as a fan made version that looks every bit as good as the one playable at the Arcades.

Here's just some examples (link) - "A true arcade hit that on Amiga became a true failure" and "This suffered pretty much the same fate as the Street Fighter II Amiga port. CPS1 games were just really poorly translated onto the Amiga".

Mighty Final Fight - A special Demake announced for the ZX Dev2017 compo!


The ZX Dev competition is really heating up now especially with games such as Gandalf, Starforce/Megaforce, Saving Kong and Gimmick! Yumetaro Odyssey, all aiming for a percentage of that massive prize 741€ and a cassette of Thrust for the ZX Spectrum. But today as a heads up via our Twitter page, sanchez has announced for the ZX-Dev Conversions compo he is doing a "demake" of the Final Fight NES spin off game as Mighty Final Fight!

Final Fight Gold - Champion Edition : Beat em up (REMAKE)


Some have already classed Final Fight Gold - Champion Edition as one of the best homebrew beat em up games released so far and it's not difficult to see why.
