A Street Fighter project by msmalik681 gets another Amiga teased [UPDATE]

The Scorpion Engine is one of the best development tools for the Amiga, as not only can you create some pretty decent looking games, but unlike other software creation tools such as BackBone they don't run at a snails pace on anything but a power house of an Amiga. Thankfully one such creator shows what could be possible, is msmalik681's upcoming Street Fighter. A game which originally appeared on the Arcades, and was then ported to pretty much every system you could think of, including such systems as the Amiga (poorly), Atari St and even the ZX Spectrum.

This year has just been fantastic for the Amstrad CPC with a ton of Amstrad homebrew games to spoil us, but even though we had the incredible Amiga to Amstrad port of Pinball Dreams, we haven't finished with the Amstrad yet. Street Fighter 2 as a tech demo on the Amiga by NeesoGames with a NEW parallax update

We've featured Street Fighter for the Amiga a number of times now, each one showing a "what if" of what Street Fighter 2 would like on the Amiga if it was ported properly, for example one person is quoted as saying for the original Street Fighter 2 as "Shockingly Bad". So here we are with another showing, but unlike the other ones we've featured previously, this one is a downloadable 20/10/2022  tech demo which can be downloaded thanks to our good friend NeesoGames!

Another Street Fighter project but this time using the Scorpion Engine on the Amiga?

The Scorpion Engine is becoming the go to development tool for the Amiga, as not only can you create some pretty decent looking games, but unlike other software creation tools such as BackBone they don't run at a snails pace on anything but a power house of an Amiga. Thankfully one such creator shows what could be possible although don't expect this one to be a full time project, is Federico Nisoli's  demo'd Street Fighter; a game which originally appeared on the Arcades, and was then ported to pretty much every system you could think of, including such systems as the Amiga (poorly), Atari St and even the ZX Spectrum.

Fightin' Spirit - A seriously good Amiga beat em up playable on the PC

Gamesnostalgia contacted me recently about their latest addition to an ever growing Amiga/PC list, is the jaw dropping fighting game ' Fightin' Spirit '. Originally coming it at 5 disks and developed by the Italian company Light Shock Software released in 1996, this arcade fighting game was out to impress. A true love letter from disgruntled Fatal Fury fans who so much wanted to give the Amiga its time to shine and boy did it do just that. Released towards the end of the Amiga's life, it stood out by a mile with incredible graphics and playability on both ECS, CD32 and AGA machines, although you'd be hard pushed to tell the difference.

Ultimate Fighters CD32 SX32 - The best fighting compilation for the Amiga CD32 by far

What a top class exclusive IRN release to wake up to, as Earok has contacted me for possibly his last great Amiga CD32 unofficial compilation. As a soft-retirement due to him moving over to commercial Amiga game development and overhauls as part of PixelGlass/Reimagine Games (See Giana Sisters Special Edition ), he has now released The Ultimate Fighters [CD32] [SX32] unofficial Amiga CD32 compilation pack. This is, in his words, the largest themed collection the site has ever produced, 40 fighting games across numerous different styles.

Street Fighter II - The REAL CPC Edition is in development!

Cast your minds way back to 1992 when Capcom's eagerly awaited beat em up ' Street Fighter 2 ' finally appeared on the C64 and ZX Spectrum. At least a year and a half later if not more , the Amstrad version was supposed to be coming to the Amstrad CPC, at least according to Amstrad Action. Yet for some reason, perhaps the development was scrapped it never appeared. Many years later, a homebrew port from the Gameboy version did appear on the Amstrad CPC by Hermol but many felt that it wasn't a true reflection of the Amstrad's detail. Fast forward to 2013-2015 and a very impressive homebrew remake titled 'Street Fighter II - CPC Edition' is being developed by DaDMaN, McKlain and AugustoRuiz for the Amstrad CPC 6128 (128Kb RAM).

Fighting Street - Street fighter in a new style of game play!

Game Type : Beat em up,Fighter

This game takes us back to the days of Street Fighter, yes it's a Beat em up. World Heroes Supreme Justice, developed by magggas uses the OpenBOR engine and has great graphics, great choice of locations and above all great game play. You have the choice list of 5 characters, each with their own attacks. The control system is that of four buttons to perform moves and combos (are the usual A, S, D + F to parry)
