Sweet Fightin' +2 - Street Fighter 2 looks incredible on the ZX Spectrum!

We've featured Street Fighter many times now on IndieRetroNews, either as a 'What if' for the Commodore Amiga, or with the 2022 hit release called Street Fighter 2 Champion Edition for the Commodore 64. Well here's one that will blow your minds! As I've been told that Sweet Fightin' +2 has been released for the ZX Spectrum. An incredible version of Street fighter 2, that is getting such feedback as, "New Street Fighter 2 for the ZX Spectrum by Presh is an absolute gem to play" and "A bleep masterpiece, there are no other words to describe this. How is this even possible? What kind of black magic did you use to pull this off?". So to coincide with this incredible news, here are two gameplay videos and the full details below.

We've featured NeesoGames tech demo of Street Fighter 2 for the Amiga a number of times now, each one showing a "what if" of what Street Fighter 2 would like on the Amiga if it was ported properly. So here we are with another showing via NeesoGames, as he has made available the *Final* tech demo for the Commodore Amiga; A new update with additions such as Shoryuken move and sound to Ryu, more energy, more accurate parallax scrolling values and other bits you'll have to see for yourselves.

I'm sure many of you remember the Street Fighter games, more especially Street Fighter 2; a game which originally appeared on the Arcades, and was then ported to pretty much every system you could think of, including such systems as the Amiga, Atari St and even the ZX Spectrum.  Well fast forward to today however and do we have some truly stonking news for you fine folks! As thanks to the hard work of team Pyron, they have released an overhauled and remastered edition of Street Fighter 2, for the Sega Mega Drive.
