Inviyya II : Hyperblaster - Tigerskunk's eagerly awaited sequel to an incredible Amiga Shoot 'em up gets new footage (Amiga/Neo Geo)

If you have played TIGERSKUNK's awesome side scrolling shoot 'em up of Inviyya, an incredible game that not only won IRN Game of the Year 2021, but many of those who played it thought it was one of the best games on the Amiga, then this latest news story is for you! As we've recently found out through Facebook, that Tigerskunk has shown off some brand new footage of the eagerly awaited sequel of Inviyya II - Hyperblaster. Yet another awesome looking Shoot em up which is coming to the Amiga 1200, 4000, CD32 and Neo Geo.

Throughout 2021 I had the pleasure of playing TIGERSKUNK's awesome side scrolling shoot 'em up of Inviyya; An incredible game that not only won IRN Game of the Year 2021, but from those who played it including myself, experienced the eye candy contained within such as parallax scrolling, wicked music and sound effects, unique organic levels, multiple enemy types, bosses and even special weapons! Well here we are with another HOT news story, as Tigerskunk has announced the development of Inviyya II - Hyperblaster; The sequel to an incredible game, which again is for all the Amiga Shoot 'em up fans out there!

Inviyya - A seriously cool Amiga Shoot Em Up by Tigerskunk gets another action packed level!

While many of you including myself are still waiting for the gorgeous big box edition of TIGERSKUNK's awesome side scrolling Shoot em up of 'Inviyya', or have played the digital download version which was released in April of this year. We are pleased to tell you, that as of today, the developer has released a brand new level for you to try to keep you entertained throughout the weeks ahead.... Although he does state the CD32 version is coming in a week or so and he is looking for feedback from those that have played the new level.

Here on Indie Retro News we try our utmost to give you the best in Amiga updates, and thus as of today we've just been informed by the team of TIGERSKUNK, that the eagerly awaited Amiga game of 'Inviyya' published via poly.play, is finally here and ready to be played by Amiga owners across the globe. This game of which we have featured many many times since its first announcement in October 2016. Looks to be an incredible game, with not just amazing scrolling graphics, but super action, great sound effects, and a real hark back to days of R-Type or Project-X!

It might be time for dinner, but for us the great news never stops. As we've just been informed by the team of TIGERSKUNK, that the eagerly awaited Amiga game of 'Inviyya' published via poly.play, is not only going to be released as of February this year, but as an extra tease for all the Shoot 'Em Up fans out there. The team have also shown off some brand new box art, some extra info, and via Indie Retro News exclusive new screenshots!

As thanks to a heads up from the developer in our Commodore Amiga Facebook group, we've been told the Amiga shoot em up of Inviyya by TigerSkunk and team, has just got another demo for you to download and try! Yes indeed this eagerly awaited game for the Amiga 500 up, has got a brand new demo that is not only more difficult but there's a number of bug fixes done too!

The Amiga is coming in HOT this year, as after already mentioning Jump!, Project Horizon, and Bagman, along comes another great update for the in-development Amiga shoot em up 'Inviyya', which is being developed by TigerSkunk and Premium for the Amiga 500 and up. Yes indeed we have another update for you, but unlike last time when it was yet again a video tease, this time the team behind the game have released the very first demo as a pre-beta experience!

Even though we weren't expecting any more updates regarding the upcoming ' Inviyya ' for the Commodore Amiga, it looks as if the developer wants to surpise once again. As thanks to a hearty heads up in our Facebook group, a new footage tease been released showing the first level of this shoot em up, with new music by Triace Desire and Logo graphics by Michael Becker. - Previous footage showed a run through of level 2!

The Amiga is coming in hotter than the weather for this month, as after already mentioning Athanor 2, and Earok's work in progress Scorpion Engine, along comes another video update for the in-development Amiga shoot em up 'Inviyya'. This game being developed by TigerSkunk, Triace and Premium for the Amiga 500 and up, was first announced via the EAB forums in October 2016, and going by the latest footage is looking like a game of the year experience for the Amiga community.

This game was first announced via the EAB forums in October 2016 and as noted by the developer is being done completely in ASM!

The Amiga is coming in HOT this week as after already mentioning Magazyn, Invaders and Mini Legion, along comes Inviyya to really open our eyes to a very decent looking game. First announced via the EAB forums in October 2016 this latest update gives us a good glimpse of the upcoming shoot em up, which according to the developer Steril707 may be released before Christmas!

We've been banging on about this game month after month, and finally after all this time we've just been contacted by Zbigniew 'Saberman' ZieliÅ„ski, that Steril707's in development Shoot Em Up ' Inviyya ' has been teased with a final version of the Revision 2018 Amiga demo! Yes indeed a game that started its life with a first announcement via the EAB forums in October 2016 is ready for your clicky joystick to get in on the action.

Steril707 has once again spread the word through Facebook that his in development Shoot Em Up ' Inviyya ', which was first announced via the EAB forums in October 2016, has not only been teased with new screenshots but there is a new build of the game which has been shown in this new video. The video includes smooth scrolling, much better detail and a cool soundtrack by Triace & Vedder: "Doskboyz & Scrollers"

Inviyya - The latest Amiga shoot em up gets an early play through


We've been talking about Steril707's in development game ' Inviyya ' for some time now, which is going to be a high grade shoot em up coming to the Amiga. But after many updates showing either screenshots or animated videos, this week the developer has now shown off the first early version of a one and a half minute play through, although it does still have glitches and lacking enemy behaviour and certain weapons.

We have been featuring Steril707's in development game ' Inviyya ' for some time now, which is still on course for an Amiga release. But after all the gossip since its first showing on the EAB forums as a design exercise for himself in learning Amiga ASM. The creator has finally released not just new screenshots but new information regarding an upcoming demo, and the game will be presented in Neuss at the Amiga32 at the end of October!

This Amiga game that originally started as just a design exercise, has come along at such a rate it doesn't just feature better animation and sound effects, but the game now has music courtesy of Triace & Vedder: "Doskboyz & Scrollers"!

Even more early footage today and not related to the C64, is Steril707's in development game ' Inviyya '. which is coming to the Amiga. First announced via the EAB forums, this Amiga game was originally started as a design exercise for himself in learning Amiga ASM by coding with the end result of creating a space shooter level with only 8 colours. Fast forward to now and the game has improved in such a way that the game is animated to the point that enemies are now being shot at and destroyed!

First announced via the EAB forums in October, this Amiga game was originally started as a design exercise for himself in learning Amiga ASM by coding with the end result of creating a space shooter level with only 8 colours. Fast forward to this week however and the first and very early pre-alpha footage has been shown off, giving us a glimpse into this R-Type style Shoot Em Up.
