Lotus Turbo Challenge II DX - The Amiga version you've always wanted, apparently ;)

Amigos Retro Gaming has surprised us with the release of Lotus Turbo Challenge II DX, a definitive upgrade for the Amiga with at least 1 MB of Chip RAM. Dubbed "The Version You Always Wanted," this release fixes long-standing limitations of the 1991 Magnetic Fields classic by finally letting players experience music and sound effects simultaneously. The v13 update restores the authentic "Checkpoint" vocal cue even when the soundtrack is silenced. Players can now select from all eight stage tracks or the main theme prior to starting a race, while competing against opponents sporting ten fresh, two-tone paint jobs.

Almost There Games is back with another nod to a nostalgic classic! Welcome to Nelumbo, a modern reimplementation that pays tribute to an iconic Amiga racing franchise. For decades, the Lotus trilogy stood as the absolute pinnacle of high-speed arcade racers on the system, spanning from the ground breaking Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge, to the fan-favourite Lotus Turbo Challenge 2, and finally Lotus III: The Ultimate Challenge. Nelumbo brilliantly fuses all three legendary titles into one rebuilt package, hopefully preserving the distinct character of the original releases while introducing modern refinements for today's hardware.

Slipstream - Retro inspired racer gets an updated Demo

We recently mentioned the Steam Greenlight success of ' Slipstream ' developed by Noctet Studio,  an arcade racing game inspired by the visuals, music, games and cars from the 80's and 90's with 4 game modes, 30 different tracks, 4 playable cars and 8 original cars. Well that same game, which is still needs to gain a good amount of Kickstarter pledges to be a success, has recently been updated with a new demo to whet your appetite.
