Argus - Dungeon Crawling style C64 Adventure teased in new preview footage


Even more C64 news now, as once again Trevor Story has teased another game in development for the C64 and this time it's an Adventure game called ' Argus '. Now there's not much to go on, but the game looks to be a Dungeon Crawler of some kind as you traverse through woodland areas, picking up items, especially weapons and using them against menacing foes. I'm unsure as to when it's going to be released, but the game is being coded by Achim Volkers, music and sfx by Saul Cross and art and design by Trevor Storey. To coincide with this news, an early preview footage teaser has been released.

Soulless 2 - Action adventure sequel in dev for the C64 gets new footage


For those of you who have had enough of the ZX Spectrum this week, might like to know the C64 has also had a bit of an eye opener today, as Trevor Storey has shown off an early sneak peak footage for the action adventure game 'Soulless 2'. This is the sequel to Soulless (link) but this time as he puts it is more ' Antiriad ' and less Draconus and Impossible Mission that was seen in the first game. As for the footage it shows many different and lush landscape screens, enemies and shooting mechanics. But as of yet armour, more gameplay, levels and bosses need still need to be added.

Barnsley Badger - Could this be one of the best C64 games of 2016? Exclusive Preview!


During Chris Wilkins Kickstarter campaign for 'The story of the Commodore 64 in pixels', which was a huge success. One of the pledges £65 or more ,was a signed copy of a new C64 game called 'Barnsley Badger', developed by Trevor Story, George Rottensteiner and team. It star'd a gambling badger called Barnsley, who, after overhearing a conversation about a discovered gold coin in a graveyard, which has the head of the great Tutanbadge carved on one side. Goes on a quest to find more treasure to hopefully pay of his debts and live the life of luxury. The story of the Commodore 64 in pixels gets a new game pledge!


So far we have featured both the announcement of Chris Wilkins 'The story of the Commodore 64 in Pixels' book Kickstarter and the extra pledge of a brand new game of 'Barnsley Badger' by Trevor Story and Georg Rottensteiner. But with the Kickstarter continuing to be a success, we have now been informed by Chris, that it has just got even better with a further announcement of a more feature packed game titled 'Tiger Claw' by  RGCD.
